Woody DeKafou is the Chief Technology Officer at Novamera Inc., where they lead a multidisciplinary team developing AI-powered solutions for surgical mining. With more than 15 years of experience spanning machine learning, SaaS, and product strategy, Woody has guided multiple venture-backed startups from seed stage through Series B, delivering technologies now deployed on five continents.

Prior to Novamera, Woody headed advanced analytics at Fruitful Source, where their work on predictive Kinetic Movement modeling reduced physical therapy costs by 28 percent and earned the 2021 Gartner’s Disruptive Innovation Award. A frequent advisor to Incubators and innovation centers, Woody serves on the IEEE Working Group for AI Standards and Robotics, and recently Co-founder at Propel a deep tech AI and robotics accelerator.
